Preparation Steps
  1. Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, cooked meats, and chopped spinach.
  3. Dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the prepared dough into a large circle, about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Slice the dough into circles approximately 6-8 inches in diameter.
  5. Take a scoop of filling and place it on one half of each dough circle.
  6. Gently fold the dough over the filling and press down on the edges to seal.
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and brush the tops of the calzones with an egg wash.
  8. Place the calzones in the air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. After cooking, check that the filling is bubbly and the dough is cooked through.
  10. Allow the calzones to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
