Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C), placing the oven rack in the center.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Coat each salmon fillet with the marinade, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the skillet with the coated salmon to the oven. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over low to medium heat, add additional minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour heavy cream into the saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  7. Remove the sauce from heat, stir in lemon juice, parsley, and season to taste.
  8. Pour the sauce generously over baked salmon, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with lemon slices and enjoy your meal!
