Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting the beef chuck roast into 2-3 inch chunks for even cooking.
  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix and brown gravy mix over the beef in the slow cooker and mix well.
  3. Pour the apple cider vinegar over the seasoned beef chunks.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Prepare mashed potatoes and warm garlic bread about 30 minutes before the beef is done.
  6. Serve the tender beef with gravy over the mashed potatoes alongside garlic bread.
