Dough
  • 1 batch Pizza Dough Homemade is ideal for best flavor
Garlic Butter
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced; consider roasting for milder flavor
  • 1/2 cup Butter Unsalted; can experiment with herbs
Topping
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated; can substitute with Pecorino Romano
  • Optional Herbs/Spices Red pepper flakes, dried oregano, fresh herbs

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. If using homemade pizza dough, knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes. If using store-bought, let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Customize with herbs if desired.
  3. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick on a floured surface and cut into bite-sized squares. Dip each in garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange bites with space in between for expansion.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving warm with marinara sauce.
