Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds fresh cod fillets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter with the lemon juice.
  4. Dip each cod fillet into the butter mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated cod fillets in a greased baking dish.
  6. Drizzle any remaining butter mixture over the top of the fillets.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
