- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until fully incorporated.
- Add your chicken strips into the prepared marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. If using a pan, add a little olive oil.
- Cook the marinated chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes per side until they achieve a golden crust and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Allow the cooked chicken to rest before slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Serve in warm pita or alongside garlic sauce and fresh vegetables.
