  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets, then season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Pour the orange glaze over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
