- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

- While the meatloaf bakes, warm mashed potatoes in a saucepan, stir in sour cream and butter, and season to taste.
