Cottage Cheese Flatbread You Can Make in Minutes!

A quick and easy recipe for making delicious cottage cheese flatbread in just a few minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano optional
  • Cooking spray or additional olive oil for frying

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and egg, and whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and oregano to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 1-2 minutes until it is smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball into a disc about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or olive oil.
  7. Cook each flatbread for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before serving.
