  • 3 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Nuts of Choice Consider nut-free options like sunflower or pumpkin seeds.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
For the Spices
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves
For Sweetness & Binding
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil Can substitute with olive oil.
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Unsulphured Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional for added sweetness.

Method
 

Step-by-step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, nuts or seeds, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves, and sea salt. Stir to mix.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt coconut oil and whisk in maple syrup, molasses, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until well coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking sheet, spreading evenly and pressing down lightly.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown, then remove and let cool for 15 minutes.
  7. After cooling, break the granola into clusters and store in an airtight container.
