Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by filling a large pot with water and bringing it to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, add salt.
- Gently add your choice of pasta into the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually about 8–10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Reserve one cup of pasta water before draining.
- Season the salmon fillet with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add salmon and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
- Lower the heat in the same skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add fresh spinach to the skillet and stir continuously until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese, and let it melt to create a creamy sauce. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Gently add cooked pasta and flaked salmon into the sauce, tossing to coat everything evenly. Add reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Plate the creamy pasta, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
