  • 4 grams Agar Agar Powder Acts as a thickener
  • 1 cup Water Filtered for best results
For the Sweetness and Creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust according to taste
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk Can swap with other plant-based milks
For the Fruity Element
  • 1 cup Strawberries Fresh and vibrant; can substitute with other berries
For Serving

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small saucepan, combine 4 grams of agar agar powder with 1 cup of water. Whisk until completely dissolved and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, cook for an additional minute, then reduce heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar until dissolved. Gradually mix in 1 cup of coconut milk.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for about 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the cooled mixture into a heatproof container or mold and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  5. While the agar agar sets, wash and quarter fresh strawberries for topping.
  6. Once set, cut into cubes, divide into serving bowls, top with strawberries and a splash of almond milk.
