- Wash the apples and peel them if desired. Slice into fry-like sticks, about 1/4 inch thick. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- In three shallow bowls, set up your breading stations: flour in the first, beaten egg with milk in the second, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with sugar and cinnamon in the third.
- Take each apple stick and dredge in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and roll in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray coated apple fries with cooking spray and place in a single layer in the basket.
