- Coat the pressed tofu with cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
- Heat sesame oil in a wok over medium-high heat and stir-fry the tofu for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Add remaining sesame oil, chopped shallots, and green beans in the same wok and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Combine the crispy tofu and sauce in the wok and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Serve over rice and garnish with fresh Thai basil if desired.
