  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar White vinegar or lemon juice works as substitutes

  • 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning Adjust for personal heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by draining the extra-firm tofu and pressing it for at least 10 minutes to eliminate excess moisture.
  2. Tear the tofu into uneven chunks.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground pepper, and maple syrup.
  4. Carefully toss the torn tofu pieces into the marinade, ensuring each chunk is well-coated.
  5. Allow the tofu to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or 375°F (190°C) for air frying.
  7. Bake the marinated tofu for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. For air frying, arrange the marinated tofu in a single layer and air fry for about 15 minutes.
  9. For pan-frying, add the marinated tofu to the skillet and fry for approximately 7 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
