Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Wrap the extra-firm tofu in a clean kitchen towel, place it on a plate, and weigh it down with something heavy.
  2. Unwrap the tofu and cut it into bite-sized cubes about 1-inch each.
  3. Transfer the cut tofu pieces to a mixing bowl, add cornstarch, and toss gently until each piece is evenly coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and freshly grated ginger.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add cooking oil, and once hot, gently place the coated tofu pieces in the skillet.
  6. Carefully pour your prepared honey garlic sauce over the crispy tofu pieces in the skillet and stir to coat.
