Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and parsley, and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef with chopped onion, garlic, parsley, seven spice, salt, black pepper, and optional pomegranate molasses.
- Drizzle in olive oil and mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Cut each pita in half to create pockets and stuff with about 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture.
Cooking
- For grilling, brush a grill pan with olive oil and heat over medium-high flame. Cook stuffed pitas for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- For baking, place stuffed pitas on a baking sheet, bake for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Broil for an extra crunch if desired.
Serving
- Once done, let Arayes cool for a minute and serve with yogurt or tahini sauce.
