For the Filling
  • 2 cups Pulled Pork Feel free to use leftover roast pork.
  • 1 cup Sliced Ham
  • 1 cup Pickles Try pickled onions for a different taste.
  • 1 cup Swiss Cheese Provolone or mozzarella can be used as alternatives.
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard Spicy mustard or aioli can be used for a kick.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to low broil. Slice the submarine rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Place cut side up on baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt to create garlic butter. Brush onto the cut sides of the rolls.
  3. Broil the rolls for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden and crispy, checking closely to prevent burning.
  4. Combine pulled pork, sliced ham, pickles, and Swiss cheese on a cutting board. Mix thoroughly and add yellow mustard.
  5. Spoon the filling into the toasted rolls and serve immediately while hot and melty.
