Step-by-Step Instructions for Cucumber Ginger Mint Agua Fresca
  1. Gather your ingredients: chop two large English cucumbers into chunks and squeeze approximately 8-10 limes to yield about 1 cup of fresh lime juice.
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped cucumbers, lime juice, sugar, mint leaves, ginger, and 2 cups of water. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to separate the juice from the pulp.
  4. Add the remaining 2 cups of water to the pitcher, stir well, and taste to adjust sweetness or tartness. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with a sprig of mint and a slice of cucumber or lime.
