Ingredients
  

For the Dip
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese full-fat preferred
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be a lighter alternative
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise light mayo may be used
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded) avoid soft varieties
  • 2 medium Fresh Tomatoes diced and patted dry
  • ½ cup Green Onions chopped, shallots can be used
  • 8 slices Bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 head Iceberg or Romaine Lettuce chopped
For Serving
  • 1 platter Dippers (Crostini, Pita Chips, etc.) choose based on preference

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the bacon strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15–20 minutes until crispy.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing mix. Use a hand mixer to blend until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in half of the bacon, half of the tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and half of the green onions.
  4. Spread the mixture into a serving dish and cover. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
  5. Before serving, top the dip with the remaining bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and remaining green onions.

Notes

Pat diced tomatoes dry to prevent a watery dip. Add fresh tomatoes and lettuce just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
