- Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and dry them with a clean kitchen towel. Trim the ends and slice each sprout in half.

- Spread the Brussels sprouts cut-side down on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.
- Stir the Brussels sprouts and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
- Whisk together maple syrup, fresh orange juice, fresh orange zest, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a medium bowl.
- Pour the glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
- Return the coated Brussels sprouts to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
