Step-by-Step Instructions for Protein Rice Krispies
  1. Begin by lining a 9×9 inch baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Lightly grease the lined pan.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of vanilla protein powder until smooth.
  3. In a large pot, over medium heat, add 1/4 cup of salted butter and melt it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Lower heat and add 10.5-ounce bag of mini marshmallows into the pot. Stir until melted and gooey.
  5. Pour in the milk and protein mixture along with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well.
  6. Gradually add 6 cups of Rice Krispies, folding them into the gooey marshmallow mixture.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the baking pan, pressing it down gently. Allow to rest for 30 to 60 minutes until firm.
  8. Carefully lift the treats from the pan and slice into squares of desired size.
