Step-by-Step Instructions for Protein Rice Krispies
- Begin by lining a 9×9 inch baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Lightly grease the lined pan.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of vanilla protein powder until smooth.
- In a large pot, over medium heat, add 1/4 cup of salted butter and melt it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Lower heat and add 10.5-ounce bag of mini marshmallows into the pot. Stir until melted and gooey.
- Pour in the milk and protein mixture along with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Gradually add 6 cups of Rice Krispies, folding them into the gooey marshmallow mixture.
- Spoon the mixture into the baking pan, pressing it down gently. Allow to rest for 30 to 60 minutes until firm.
- Carefully lift the treats from the pan and slice into squares of desired size.
