Preparation

  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Whisk together the powdered sugar and maple syrup for the glaze.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars and slice into squares.
