Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Carefully drain the excess water from the silken tofu packaging, then slice it into 1/2 to 1-inch thick pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil, vegetarian oyster sauce, sugar, and chili oil. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Prepare a steamer by boiling water. Place the heat-proof dish with sliced tofu above the boiling water and steam for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Once steamed, remove the tofu carefully. Drain excess liquid and drizzle the prepared soy garlic sauce over the tofu.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped spring onions and cilantro before serving.
