Step-by-Step Instructions for Strawberry Oatmeal Crumble Bars
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl and mix in the all-purpose flour, old-fashioned oats, and both sugars until crumbly.
- Set aside one cup of the crumble mixture for the topping.
- Press the remaining crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for about 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Coarsely chop the strawberries and combine with sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a medium bowl.
- Spread the strawberry filling evenly over the baked crust and sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture on top.
