Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts Cut into thin slices for quicker cooking.
  • 1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce Can substitute with soy sauce mixed with honey.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Any neutral oil can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons Low Sodium Soy Sauce Tamari can be used for gluten-free option.
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced; or use garlic powder as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger Minced; ground ginger can be substituted.
For the Slaw
  • 4 cups Coleslaw Mix Homemade mix of cabbage and carrots can be used.
  • 2 scallions Green Onions Diced; optional.
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar can be a suitable alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Agave syrup can be used in place.
For the Tacos
  • 12 pieces Wonton Wrappers Can make homemade dough for shells.
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet Chili Sauce Sriracha mixed with honey can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Can use crushed nuts or omit.
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro Omit if not preferred; parsley can substitute.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and marinate with teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place wonton wrappers on an upside-down muffin tin and bake for 7-9 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add the marinated chicken, and sauté until fully cooked through and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Prepare the slaw by mixing coleslaw with green onions, and dressing of rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey.
  5. Assemble tacos by filling wonton shells with chicken, topping with slaw, drizzling sweet chili sauce, and garnishing with sesame seeds and cilantro.
