Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare Honey Butter by mixing softened butter, sugar, and honey until smooth. Shape into a square, wrap in wax paper, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Step 2: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, minced garlic, and dried herbs. Gradually add buttermilk until just combined.
  3. Step 3: Knead dough briefly and shape into a rectangular block. Wrap tightly in wax paper and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Roll the chilled dough out to ½ inch thick, place honey butter in the center, fold dough over like an envelope, and refrigerate again for 10-15 minutes.
