  • 3 bags black tea
  • 4 cups boiling water
For Sweetening
  • 1/4 cup sugar Feel free to switch this out for honey or agave syrup if preferred!
For the Fruit
  • 6 pieces passion fruits If fresh passion fruit is hard to find, consider using thawed frozen passion fruit pulp as a delicious alternative.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil 4 cups of water until it reaches a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add 3 black tea bags. Steep for 3–4 minutes, then remove bags and let cool slightly.
  2. In the brewed tea, add 1/4 cup of sugar while still warm. Stir for about 1 minute until fully dissolved.
  3. Cut 6 ripe passion fruits in half and scoop out the seeds and pulp. Add this to the sweetened tea and stir gently.
  4. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the Passion Fruit Iced Tea over the ice. Optionally garnish with fresh mint.
