  • 6 slices Bacon Rich, smoky flavor
  • 1 medium Onion Yellow onion is ideal
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh minced for maximum flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Stone Ground Mustard Dijon is a good substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can be used if preferred

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet, cook diced bacon over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until crispy, then drain on paper towel, reserving 2 tablespoons of grease.
  2. Sauté diced onion in the reserved bacon grease for 2-3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
  3. Add minced garlic, stone ground mustard, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper, stirring for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add sliced cabbage to skillet, sauté for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
  5. Return crispy bacon to skillet with cabbage, mix thoroughly, and heat for an additional 1-2 minutes.
