  • to taste honey or agave nectar Sweeten to taste.
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen cranberries For texture and flavor.
  • 2 cups ice For blending.
For the Rim
  • equal parts granulated sugar & kosher salt For the rim.
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest Adds a hint of citrus.
For Garnish
  • fresh rosemary sprigs For garnish.
  • optional sugared cranberries For additional sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix granulated sugar and kosher salt on a small plate in equal parts. Moisten the rims of your glasses with a lime wedge and dip them into the sugar-salt mixture.
  2. In a blender, combine ice, cranberry juice, silver tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and cranberries. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour the blended margarita into the prepared glasses and garnish with rosemary and sugared cranberries.
