For the Cheesy Sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded) Aged cheddar provides deeper richness

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 1 pound ground beef and brown for 6-8 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Push beef to one side, add 4 cloves minced garlic to the empty side and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon onion powder and 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Stir in 1 cup uncooked rice and 2 cups beef broth. Bring to a gentle boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes, checking occasionally.
  7. Fold in 1 cup shredded cheddar and ½ cup grated Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  8. Adjust seasoning if needed, serve hot garnished with extra cheese or parsley.
