Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, parsley, oregano, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese (if using).
  6. Brush each flatbread with a little olive oil and sprinkle the garlic herb mixture evenly on top.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  8. Place one flatbread in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining flatbreads.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
