  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Or coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Dissolved in water
  • 1/2 cup Water Adjust for sauce consistency

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C) and brush grates with oil.
  2. Thread cubed chicken pieces onto soaked bamboo skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  3. Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar; bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water and stir into the sauce, cook until thickened.
  6. Place skewers on the grill; cook 5-7 minutes on each side, brushing with sauce.
  7. Let skewers rest for a couple of minutes before serving with remaining sauce.
