Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the slightly softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. Whisk together the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles into the dough.
  6. Scoop about 1/4 cup of dough, flatten it, place a Halloween Oreo in the center, and seal the dough around it.
  7. Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, at least 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes, until slightly underbaked in the center but golden at the edges.
  9. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top while warm, cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
