Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey Garlic Chicken Bites
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Combine 1 pound of cubed chicken breast, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in a mixing bowl. Toss until coated.
  3. Add the coated chicken to the hot skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked to 165°F.
  4. In the same skillet, combine 1/3 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of sriracha. Stir and heat until bubbling.
  5. Return the cooked chicken bites to the skillet and stir well to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the sauce to thicken for about a minute.
  7. Serve warm over rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
