Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by spraying it with nonstick spray.
  2. Using a long serrated knife, carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without completely separating them.
  3. Layer the provolone cheese evenly over the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken with the hot honey sauce until well coated.
  5. Spread the hot honey chicken mixture evenly over the provolone cheese layer on the rolls.
  6. After 15 minutes, carefully remove the baking pan from the oven and place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls onto the chicken mixture.
  7. In a separate bowl, melt the butter and mix in the cayenne pepper, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  8. Gently brush the melted butter mixture over the top of the Hawaiian rolls.
  9. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tops of the sliders turn golden brown.
  10. Once baked, carefully remove the top buns and layer the shredded coleslaw over the chicken mixture.
  11. Place the top buns back onto the sliders and brush with any remaining butter mixture if desired. Cut the sliders into individual servings.
