  • 4 large Eggs large
  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree can substitute with unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Sea Salt
For the Streusel
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter cold
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans or substitute with almonds or walnuts

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Butter or spray a 9x13-inch baking dish. Cut bread into 1-inch cubes and scatter in the dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, cream, sugars, eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla, spices, and salt until smooth. Pour over bread cubes and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In another bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, spices, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in pecans.
  4. Remove the baking dish from the fridge, sprinkle streusel over the soaked bread, and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, covering with foil if it browns too quickly.
