- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Pour Crispix cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Melt unsalted butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar until fully combined and bring to a boil for 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, then stir in corn syrup and vanilla extract. Return to boil for 1 minute.
- Add baking soda and stir until foamy, about 1 minute.
- Pour the foamy caramel over the Crispix, and mix until thoroughly coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet and let cool for 1 hour.
