Cooking Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and five-spice powder until well combined. Add the chicken thighs and ensure they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Arrange the marinated chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet, pour remaining marinade over the top, and bake for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked and edges are caramelized.
- Optionally, after baking, grill or broil the chicken for an additional 2 minutes per side for a charred flavor, being careful not to burn.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve warm with steamed rice or stir-fried veggies.

Notes
For maximum flavor, marinate chicken overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
