Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangular shape about ¼-inch thick.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the steak pieces until browned, then add the diced bell peppers and garlic until softened.
  4. Spread the steak and vegetable mixture evenly across the rolled-out dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the filling.
  6. Roll the dough tightly away from you, tucking in the sides as you go, and pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the lined baking sheet. Score the top and brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  9. Slice into generous pieces and serve warm, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.
