Step-by-Step Instructions for Reese’s Bark
  1. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a 9x13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  2. Melt the Chocolate Mixture: Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals until fully melted.
  3. Spread the Chocolate Layer: Pour half of the melted chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly into a rectangle, ensuring a 1/4 inch thickness. Chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer: Mix creamy peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Layer the Peanut Butter Mixture: Drop dollops of peanut butter mixture over the chilled chocolate layer, pressing down gently to create an even layer.
  6. Cover with Remaining Chocolate: Pour remaining melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  7. Add the Finishing Touches: Sprinkle Reese’s Pieces on top before the chocolate sets and press them down gently. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  8. Cut and Serve Your Bark: Remove from refrigerator, lift out from edges, and cut into squares or rectangles to serve.
