Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound Medium or Large Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust based on taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper fresh-ground preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet Paprika adds mild sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional if using fresh garlic
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for sautéing
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for richness
  • 6 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 medium Shallot diced
  • 0.5 cup Vodka can substitute with broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili Flakes adjust to taste
For the Broth & Finish
  • 1 cup Fish Broth can substitute with chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Peel and devein the shrimp if not prepped. Season them with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet and add olive oil and butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook until pink.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and diced shallot; cook until translucent.
  4. Add chili flakes, then deglaze with vodka and scrape up browned bits. Let cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the fish broth and bring to a boil. Whisk in remaining butter.
  6. Add shrimp back, heat through, then stir in lemon juice and garnish with parsley.
