  3. Add the creamy peanut butter, milk, vanilla extract, and the egg to the creamed mixture, and beat until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain slightly soft.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
