For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese Feel free to substitute with a cheese of your choice.
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce Optional, can be omitted if avoiding soy.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds Used for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Slice the cucumbers: Wash and slice Persian cucumbers into ½ cm thick rounds.
  2. Prepare the mixing bowl: Transfer cucumbers into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the vegetables: Finely dice the red onion and jalapeno, then stir into the bowl.
  4. Mix the creamy dressing: Incorporate cream cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, smoked paprika and sea salt.
  5. Toss the ingredients: Carefully toss until everything is coated with the dressing.
  6. Transfer and garnish: Move salad to a serving plate and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Chill before serving: Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
