Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soften the butter and cream cheese at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix until smooth.
  3. Spread the jalapeno mixture on one slice of bread, top with cheddar, and place the second slice on top.
  4. Butter one side of the sandwich and sprinkle with parmesan, then flip and repeat on the other side.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes and place the sandwich in the skillet buttered-side down.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then carefully flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
