Ingredients
  

For the Pasta Base
  • 2 cups Cooked Macaroni Choose your favorite shape
For the Seafood
  • 1 pound Cooked Shrimp Peeled and shelled
For the Flavor
  • 1 medium Shallot Or green onions
  • 1 cup Celery Chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin Or smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Granulated Garlic Or fresh minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper Or red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup Parsley Chopped (or dill/cilantro)
For the Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Or lime juice
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil Or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Or soy sauce
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise Or Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream Or use more Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon Mustard Powder Or Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Or maple syrup/honey

Method
 

Marinating and Cooking Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimp with lemon juice, olive oil, granulated garlic, and cumin. Toss to coat and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 5 minutes until opaque and firm. Remove from heat and cool.
Preparing the Dressing and Salad
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard powder, salt, pepper, granulated garlic, and cumin until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, sautéed shrimp, shallot, celery, and parsley. Pour the dressing over and gently stir to coat.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.
