Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes, flip and cook for 2 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, mixing to combine. Allow to simmer gently.
  5. Whisk in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, sun-dried tomatoes, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return seared salmon to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, and serve immediately.
