  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
For Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Pat it before serving

Step-by-Step Instructions for Georgian Cheese Bread
  1. In a stand mixer, combine milk, water, yeast, sugar, and salt. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Gradually add flour and knead for about 5 minutes until elastic. Incorporate oil while kneading.
  3. Shape the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, and let it rise covered for about 1 hour.
  4. Prepare cheese filling by blending farmers cheese, feta, and mozzarella until creamy.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide into 6 portions, and roll each into a circle. Shape into boats and fill with cheese mixture.
  6. Cover filled khachapuri and let rise for 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 425°F.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Create an indent in cheese filling, crack an egg in each, and top with butter. Bake for another 5 minutes.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy your khachapuri!
