Preparation Steps
- Begin by warming your Nutella in a microwave-safe bowl for 20-30 seconds. Stir halfway through to ensure even consistency.
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of all-purpose flour until it forms a ball of dough.
- Allow the dough to cool for about 5 minutes in the saucepan.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky.
- Combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Pipe strips of dough, about 3-4 inches long, into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Roll the fried churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture while still warm.
- Serve immediately alongside the warm Nutella dip.

For the best experience, serve churros warm with Nutella. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
