Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a high-speed blender, combine 2 cups of chopped fresh pineapple and 2 cups of hulled and sliced strawberries with 2 cups of cold water. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing down to extract as much liquid as possible.
  3. Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and the juice of 1 lime. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and let flavors meld.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.
